To match your existing key, we are looking for either a five or six digit number that is stamped on the back of the actual key.  Residential locks almost always are five digit numbers and commercial locks are either five or six digits.

The keyway (shape of the key's cross-section) is designated by the letter stamped on the lower right of the key shaft (generally a C)..  If your key number has other letters  mixed with the numbers, like N1745, this is a key code that was setup by your company or the original suppler and as such, cannot be used for our purposes.
