Secure Key is an advanced key cylinder that is bump-resistant and pick-resistant, plus users can rekey the cylinder themselves. FactoryLocks is now carrying Secure Key version of most B60 deadbolt finish at this time with more on the way. Also we are stocking the most popular Schlage handlesets with Secure Key too. When going through our Entrance Wizard, our system will check on the availability of Secure Key and will automatically supply that handleset for you. FactoryLocks is happy to announce the addition of a strike and latch option to our shopping cart page. With this new option, you can change the standard strike and latch for most Schlage items.

Recently, Schlage change the latch and strike supplied with residential passage and privacy locks, so they now come with the Dual Option Latch and Radius Corner Strike. The Dual Option latch is an adjustable latch that comes with a radius corner latch plate and a drive-in collar. For customers who have square corner preps or perhaps have doors with T-strikes, this was not ideal.

With the addition of the strike and latch option, you can now change the strike and latch specified with your order. This also applies to commercial Schlage locks as well for the B660 deadbolt, A Series, AL Series, D Series, ND Series, S Series and S200 Series.

After selecting your item and going to the shopping cart page, a new hyperlink to the far right of the item says 'Latches/Strike'. Clicking on this option will bring up the Latch and Strike screen, where you can select other strike and latch combinations. Please note: some of the options are at an additional cost.

Schlage has announced a price increase for a number of commercial items, starting on April 5th, 2010. Currently Schlage is planning on the following price adjustments:

All 626 finishes (Satin Chrome) will go up 4%

All others except 613 (Oil Rubbed Bronze) & 630 (Stainless Steel) will go up $12.00 list

613 (Oil Rubbed Bronze) & 630 (Stainless Steel) locks will go up $24.00 list

Residential products, F, FA, B60, J, JH & JD series will not be included in the price increase.

Schlage's new ANSI Grade One B60 deadbolt will take the place of the older B360 and BA360 deadbolt series. The B60 is available in all residential finishes and functions, including the double cylinder B62.

The B60 is also able to accomodate a large number of legacy door preps. The B60 can be used in lock bores of 1-1/2" and 2-1/8". Also, the B60 comes with an adjustable bolt, for both the 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" backsets.

FactoryLocks will continue to sell the B360 and BA360 until our stock is exhausted.
